For my more adventurous readers, this section is a basic primer on the super cool mathematical calculations and scientific concepts behind the topics discussed on Astronomical Returns, an appendix of all the technical knowledge I've been able to pick up along the way. Although my formal STEM background is limited, it just goes to show that with enough effort and interest, anyone can learn the material posted here!
